A native of Canaan, NH, Jessica graduated from Keene State College with a BA in Journalism and International Studies.

She joined the staff of the Journal of Vascular Surgery in 2007 and worked as the Editorial Assistant alongside then Editor-in-Chief Dr Jack Cronenwett at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. In 2008 Jessica was promoted to Managing Editor of the JVS and moved the Editorial Office to the SVS Headquarters in Chicago. Working with Editors Drs Sidawy and Perler, Jessica played a key role in launching the Journal of Vascular Surgery: Venous and Lymphatic Disorders and then the Journal of Vascular Surgery Cases (later Journal of Vascular Surgery Cases and Innovative Techniques). After 5 years in Chicago, Jessica returned to New Hampshire where she continues to manage the JVS Journals and lead the editorial staff, which includes Alexandria Sese, Tyler Cosgrove, and Carlee Green working in Chicago.

Jessica is the heart and soul of the JVS publications. She is an indispensable expert managing editor who works seamlessly with current editors Drs Peter Gloviczki and Peter F. Lawrence. She oversees a large editorial board and the submission and peer-review process of 4 journals with remarkable ease. There has been much growth and change during the nearly 10-years that Jessica has managed the JVS Journals and we all are looking forward to working with Jessica for many years to come.
