Dr. Daniel K. Han
Dr. Daniel K. Han received his Bachelor of Arts Cum Laude from Cornell University in Chemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai with Distinction in Research. Dr. Han completed his residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Vascular Surgery and has remained on faculty there where he continues to serve as an associate program director of the Vascular Surgery residency and fellowship programs, co-director of the department of surgery clerkship, and associate professor.
Dr. Han has a strong interest in the usage of social media and technology to share and disseminate information. He began working with the Journal of Vascular Surgery in 2016 and, under the direction of Drs. DiMuzio, Gloviczki, and Lawrence, has worked to improve the exposure of JVS events and publications across different platforms and specialties. He serves as Assistant Editor of the recently launched Visual Abstracts of the Journal of Vascular Surgery Publications in an effort to provide new and innovative ways that scientific research can be shared.
