Health-related quality of life at baseline and at 1-year follow-up stratified by type D personality (solid circles) and nontype D personality (open squares). Univariate analysis was by analysis of variance for repeated measures. A higher score indicates better health status, with a high score on Bodily Pain representing the absence of pain.
